This template is used for two linked sections side by side

Help on how to fill out this template

Template fields

Name - This is a mandatory field. You must give the template an appropriate name that corresponds with your content e.g. News story. The name is not shown on the live web page.

Heading - This is the title that will appear at the top of your page. Enter your text. Try to keep it to 50 characters.

Intro Text - You can enter a short introduction relating to your content into the HTML box if required. It's not recommended to use this field.

image 1 - You must select an image that is 500x500 pixels in size.

Title - Title of the left hand box. It will appear on the live page. Enter a title with a maximum of 45 characters.

Section text - Enter your text up to a maximum of 800 characters.

float-image - You must select whether you want the image to appear to the left or right of the text.  Click on either 'left half' or 'right half'.

URL - This field is used to link the text and image to a page within the website. To do this, click on Select. Then using the site structure navigate to the page you want to link to and click on it.

URL-alt - This field is used to link the text and image to a page within the old Strathclyde website or to an external website eg www.bbc.co.uk. Do not use this field to link to pages with the current Strathclyde website.  To add a link just enter the full URL of the page you want to link to including http://.

You cannot use both URL and URL-alt. You must select one or the other.

image 2 - This is an optional feild. You must select an image that is 600x300 pixels in size.

Close section - If filled in, the section will close and an underline will separate from the the next section. If left blank the section below will merge with the content to create a bigger section.
