This template is used to display 3, 4 or 5 blocks horizontally.

The dispaly is determined by the number of blocks completed, if there is only 3 the 3 blocks will fill the space that 5 would.

Template fields

Name - This is a mandatory field. You must give the template an appropriate name that corresponds with your content e.g. News story. The name is not shown on the live web page.

Heading - This is the title that will appear at the top of your section. Enter your text. Try to keep it to 50 characters.

Image 1 - An image must be used with this template. Click on 'Select' and search the Media Library for the image you want to use. For this template the image must be sized 360x180 pixels.

Title 1 - This is a mandatory field. Type a suitable title - relating to the story/feature to which the template is linking to - into the box. This is the title that will appear on the live web page.

Supporting Text - This is a mandatory field. Enter a short introduction relating to your content into the HTML box. Once you have updated this and are back in the main text box ensure that you put your text into paragraphs by highlighting it all and selecting Paragraph from the Format drop down menu.

URL - This field is used to link the text and image to a page within the website. To do this, click on Select. Then using the site structure navigate to the page you want to link to and click on it.

URL-alt - This field is used to link the text and image to a page within the old Strathclyde website or to an external website e.g. www.bbc.co.uk. Do not use this field to link to pages with the current Strathclyde website.  To add a link just enter the full URL of the page you want to link to including http://.

Colour picker - you can choose what colour the side heading box should be.  Choose from orange, blue, green or red.

Sections 2 to 5 are completed in the same way.

Close section - If filled in, the section will close and an underline will separate from the the next section. If left blank the section below will merge with the content to create a bigger section.
