As an alumnus of the University of Strathclyde, you are part of a vibrant and diverse community beyond graduation. We value our alumni and want to provide you with opportunities to stay connected and engaged with the University and your fellow graduates.
One way to stay connected is to take advantage of the many facilities that the University has to offer. Whether you're looking to stay fit and active, pursue a hobby or interest, or simply catch up with friends, there are a range of on and off-campus facilities available. As an alumnus, you can access many of these facilities, including Strathclyde Sport, and the University’s Andersonian Library. We also offer special rates for alumni, making it easier for you to stay involved and take advantage of all that the University has to offer.
Campus tours
Alumni can join tours of the campus led by current students of the university. This tour includes many key areas of campus including our Student Village, Strathclyde Sport, library, Learning and Teaching building, and academic buildings.
Strathclyde library
A fantastic benefit of being a Strathclyde alumnus is access to the University’s Andersonian Library. Available to graduates at a discounted rate, and non-graduating alumni with a visitor’s pass, the library offers a huge volume of resources and facilities.
Strathclyde Sport
Continue to take advantage of the fantastic sporting facilities available on campus with our special membership rates for graduates. In addition to our cardiovascular suite, you can also enjoy our swimming pool and sign up for a number of health and fitness classes.
Ross Priory
Ross Priory is a beautiful country house located on the banks of Loch Lomond, offering a stunning setting for weddings, conferences, and events. The venue boasts magnificent views of the loch and surrounding hills, as well as elegant interiors and landscaped gardens. Membership of this unique facility is open to graduates of the University.

The Barony
Home to Strathclyde’s graduation ceremonies, the Barony is a splendid neo-gothic confection in red sandstone. The Great Hall is a stunning backdrop for seated dinners, standing receptions and conferences.
