This content type is used to display an image gallery which includes a small amount of supplementary text for each image and a thumbnail.
You can add up to 20 images in each gallery.
The content type can be used on any page.
Content type fields
Name - This is a mandatory field. You must give the content type an appropriate name that corresponds with your content, for example Science image gallery. The name is not shown on the live web page.
Heading - This is a mandatory field. Maximum five words.
Supplementary Text - This is an optional field. If you want to add some text above the image gallery then enter it in this field and remember to style it using the HTML WYSIWIG editor. Your text must be in paragraphs.
Image - This is a mandatory field. You must select an image from the media library. The dimensions of the image must be 1600 x 600 pixels.
Title - This is an optional field. Maximum five words.
Text - This is an optional field. The text will appear under the title. Maximum 50 words.
URL - This allows you to link the image to another webpage within the site. This is an optional field.
Thumbnail - This is a mandatory field. You must select an image from the media library. The dimensions of the image must be 150 x 150 pixels.
Image2 - This is a mandatory field. You must select an image from the media library. The dimensions of the image must be 1600 x 600 pixels.
Title2 - This is an optional field. Maximum five words.
Text2 - This is an optional field. The text will appear under the title. Maximum 50 words.
URL2 - This allows you to link the image to another webpage within the site. This is an optional field.
Thumbnail2 - This is a mandatory field. You must select an image from the media library. The dimensions of the image must be 150 x 150 pixels.
It's only mandatory to add two images to the gallery but we recommend that you add at least five images.
If you want to add more images then complete fields Image 2 to 20 in the same way as detailed above.
