This content type creates left and right-hand content areas which acts as a master to pull in content from news and events content types in the same section. This allows you to display both news and events listings together, or display one or the other combined with additional content.
The content types you should use to add the news and event content are -
- uos NewsSummary
- uos Events
The background colours of the content areas is customisable, and the content type fills the width of the screen.
Content type fields
Name - This is a mandatory field. You must give the content type an appropriate name that corresponds with your content, for example Technology feature. The name is not shown on the live web page.
Background Colour: This is a mandatory field. Choose a colour for the background of the content.
Leading Text: If you would like to add content above the two column area, add it to this field.
Left Background Colour: Choose a colour for the background of the left content area.
Left Content: Add your content for the left content area here.
Left Feed Type: Choose if you would like the news/events feed to display news articles or events.
Left Button Text: If you would like to display a button/call-to-action at the bottom of the left content area, enter the button text.
Left Button URL: If displaying a button in the left-hand content area, complete this field to choose a section from the site structure in T4 to link to.
Left Button URL-alt: If displaying a button in the left-hand content area, complete this field to link to an external URL.
Right Background Colour: This is a mandatory field. Choose a colour for the background of the right content area.
Right Content: This is a mandatory field. Add your content for the right content area here.
Right Feed Type: Choose if you would like the news/events feed to display news articles or events.
Right Button Text: If you would like to display a button/call-to-action at the bottom of the right content area, enter the button text.
Right Button URL: If displaying a button in the right-hand content area, complete this field to choose a section from the site structure in T4 to link to.
